Are you interested in learning nature and wildlife photography? Did you get a new camera recently and not sure how to use it or what all the settings and buttons are for? Why not join me in the field on one of my photography workshops!
Geared towards the beginner photographer, these courses will act as an introduction to the basics of outdoor photography. Topics covered will include everything you'll need to get you shooting images you can be proud to show to your family and friends. We'll discuss the fundamentals of exposure, go-to camera settings, composition, landscape and wildlife tips and tricks and an introduction to filters and gear.
Each workshop is taught on-location in beautiful Southwest Alberta, Canada and will consist of an outdoor classroom session as well as hands-on learning in the field including stops at a variety of locations and if luck you should have, many opportunities to spot wildlife as well! Included in the package price is travel within the parks, dinner and a package of take-home learning materials.
To ensure an enjoyable and rewarding experience, groups will consist of a maximum of four people. This allows everyone to get one-on-one instruction to help improve their photography skills and get the most from their experience. I focus on providing a fun and encouraging environment for people of all skill levels and want participants to walk away with gained confidence in their photography and a deeper connection to nature.
