About

Fine-Art Prints & Photo Art

My passion for photography normally finds me scouting a gravel back road for my next inspiration. So much so that it was the influence behind my company name, Gathering Dust Photography. If my vehicle is covered in dust, it typically means I spent the day doing what I love.

I developed a love for photography at a young age. Growing up I spent many hours with my family exploring the outdoors on the back roads near our home. It has always brought me great joy to be out in nature so seemed a natural fit to get into photography so I could capture those moments.

I continue to be inspired by the world around me. Nature provides me with endless inspiration and creativity. There is beauty everywhere and in the smallest of things. It’s just a matter of stepping away from our busy lives and getting reacquainted with the world around us. Besides photographing landscapes and wildlife, I often find myself being drawn to historic architecture and abandoned homesteads. I am fascinated by the craftsmanship and the attention to details that was evident when constructing these buildings and the stories behind their abandonment.

Photography gives us the opportunity to capture a unique moment in time. It can tell a story, inform and inspire. My goal is to inspire people to preserve not only the wonders of our natural world but also our history for future generations to enjoy. We live in a beautiful world, get out there and see it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
